Closed trailer or Dry box

Our fleet contains several hundred closed trailers with 2 or 3 axles, commonly called "Dry Box" or "Dry Van". These 48 'or 53' trailers require loading from a dock since access to the goods is only from behind. However, the load is covered, which protects it from rain, wind and other inclement weather. The trailer can be locked, which guarantees you a secure trip at all times.

These dry, ventilated, heated or temperature controlled trailers guarantee transportation in optimum conditions. They are mostly used to transport any type of merchandise that can be placed on pallets and a floor with wood inserts for shipments that need a higher number of anchor points.

Flatbed trailers

SGT owns a variety of Flatbed, including step deck and telescopic trailers. These types of trailer allow you to load your merchandise from the side and are ideal to meet your transportation needs. They are also known as "flat" and "open trailer".

Open trailer shipment is perfect for the transportation of different freight everywhere in Canada, the United States and Mexico. The multiple anchor points on this type of equipment can guarantee you a secured delivery that respects the highest standards in the transportation industry. Container chassis

SGT also offers shipping of your merchandise through containers on our 20, 40, 48 or 53 ft. chassis for your land and intermodal needs. We can also provide B-Train transportation, an eco-friendly alternative.

Our 2 or 3 axle container chassis is a turnkey solution for your supply chain needs. These metal structures have "twist-lock" anchors at each end, thereby locking the container to the chassis so that they are one. Your cargo is in place and secure until it arrives safely. As a result, SGT provides an effective efficient container transportation solution by serving the major transit points of the Montreal area (the port, the railway station and the marshalling yards).
